“DIY之夜” 另一樣就係整姊妹花球﹐作為我俾姊妹嘅另一份禮物
。話說我做咗好多次伴娘&姊妹﹐只有我家姐結婚那次有伴娘花球 (係外國婚禮﹐外國較流行伴娘都有花球)﹐當時真係好開心﹐有花球在手﹐覺得更加受新娘重視嘛
﹐又唔洗兩手空空影相 ~﹗
我好愛鬱金香﹐就揀咗 purple (帶點 pink 嘅 purple) tulips 做姊妹花球。上網揾 reference, 單用 tulips 嘅花球唔多﹐見倒一張係 tulips 加隻大蝴蝶 (Reference 2)﹐真係好靚﹐就跟住呢個方向啦﹗

由於姊妹花球 size 會比新娘花球細﹐所以我就揀咗小 tulips﹐又係喺花園街伯伯度買。“DIY之夜” 當日開工前﹐伴娘 Peggy 就陪我去深水埗買咗粗身絲帶﹐一買就買咗七碼﹗連剪絲帶店員都問清楚我係咪要咁多﹗
返到屋企﹐ Peggy﹑Marian 同我三個就剪剪整整﹐三個人整咗幾個鐘。
製作方法﹕(1) 將一支支花&葉剪出 (呢 part 有點難﹐因為絲花裡面有 wire﹐我之前買把剪刀唔夠力﹐好難將花花剪到一樣長度)
(2) 用花貼將花花貼埋一齊 (呢 part 最難係令D花同葉 evenly spread out & 做得靚)
(3) 用絲帶綁起 (要出動埋雙面膠紙)
(4) 加大大蝴蝶 (同之前整襟花一樣﹐要整隻靚靚蝴蝶原來唔係想像中容易﹐又係研究一輪之後嘅成果)
本來想喺絲帶上加大頭針﹐覺得會靚D﹐不過又怕到時D針萬一甩出嚟會桔親姊妹們
﹐所以就放棄咗喇。
最後﹐我哋發現用絲帶包尾會靚D整齊D﹐再加絲帶包尾﹐就完成啦﹗

我問過我的bridesmaid, 佢地話無好過有, take care多一個花球反而無手做野.

I picked the colour of the flowers and ribbons because my bridesmaids are wearing light purple and my maid of honour is wearing light burgundy. So this colour would not blend in to their dress too much while they also match with their dress.
Since your bridesmaids are wearing golden yellow, if you use the same colour as your wrislets, the colour of the bouquets might be too close to the dress and might blend in. It really depends on the tone of the dress. If the dress is in a darker tone, the same colour as your wrislets might work. Hmmm I think using something pale and light will match with the wrislets. I cannot think of an exact colour that will stand out yet not overpowering. I thought about light orange but this might not work with the dress if the tone is not right (can become 'leung' very easily). Sorry I cannot give you a better recommendation as I am not very good at colour coordination.
