Vittorio Brambilla, nicknamed "Monza Gorilla", had entered into European Formula 2 Championship since 1970, some years later than his brother Ernesto.
After driving for Ferrari and Brabham in 1970, he started driving March 712 in 1971. In 1973, under Beta tools' sponsorship, (which became Beta Racing Team) both he and Ernesto drove March 732s in the European F2 Championship. Here are some pictures of Vittorio in 1973: (Pictures from ASAG.sk)

Vittorio Brambilla (9) led Roger Williamson (3) in Monza when Ernesto (11, on the back) retired from the race. But the final result was Williamson won, while Vittorio retired.

Vittorio Brambilla (far right, car no 1) struggled with Roger Williamson (car no 24) in the opening of Misano race... but retired again.
