外子下水禮

今天是我外子的下水禮 ------浸禮儀式!

一心計劃給他一本漢語英語翻譯聖經, 是朋友P在香港代購買的, 但她堅持不接受 $, So what can I do?  What meaningful thing should I buy for him??

Thought about it for long until coming up a crazy idea of handmaking something nice for the bible……… A COVER!  Mr K has a special fond of texture.  He loves the silicon skin feels.  But all silicon coats on the web are for iphone and some other electronic gadgets. um...

EEE......maybe make a leather cover!!??

I am not a craft person and I had bad grade in schools.  But to my surprise my embroidery isn't that bad this time!  Yay!  At least he likes it!

Leather remnant  = $1 (used one-third of the piece)

Embroidery floss = 3 for $1.09 (used less than 1 )
