Mechanical Puzzle Appreciation

This wire puzzle contains 3 layers. The middle layer is the shortest, and containing only 3 short sections: head, trunk and tail respectively.The two outermost layers are very much the same in terms of their structures. Three layers added up together build up a most magnificent structure, which can attract full admiration for this grand structure and the original designer.

Two points are worth mentioning:

(1) This wire puzzle has a wonderful structure, which can be turned into something like a big bird by appearance;

(2) The sword was made by another senior(aged 78 in 2009), who can make a straight steel wire sword out of a piece of ordinary steel wire(normally 2.0mm in thickness) but becoming much stronger, not easily to be changed in the shape.
