Esbjorn Svensson, RIP

Just knew that Esbjorn Svensson, the Swedish pianist and leader of the jazz trio Esbjorn Svensson Trio (E.S.T) was killed in a diving accident at the age of 44 on 14 June.  While he might not be so well known in USA , he was able to draw the young people in Europe to halls which were previously reserved for rock bands with his blending jazz with electronic effects, rock, and wild improvisation.
