I was speechless in seeing 陶傑claiming on TV that if he has to pay for seeing one movie, “Lust, Caution” will definitely be his only choice.  I don't mind seeing him acting as the spokesman for a cosmetic brand as he never claims to be an expert in cosmetics.  We all know it is an advertisement. 

It is, however, very different in the case of films as he always claims to have much knowledge on film.  Is it an advertisement?  An unreasonably exaggerated recommendation from a so-called film expert?  I can still recall that when Munich was competing for the Oscar Award, he once put Spielberg before Bergman (and other film masters) in introducing  his list of the world film masters.  Now it appears that he put all his bet on “Lust, Caution”.

    我, 不太想看色戒, 因為怕參與觀眾期待三場床上戲的低俗遊戲, 還是等看dvd.

     我, 反而期待  密陽(Secret Sunshine, 李滄東)   與   呼吸(金基德).

    vicio: can't agree w/ u more.  if chip tsao is an expert in any field, be it exaggeration, sometimes to the point of being annoying

    personally i don't think he's that "expert" in many aspects.

    Don't take his words so seriously.  His popularity has been built on exaggerations in his speeches.
