Harriet - my little princess

Harriet came to when she was only 1 year old.  She is now 2 years old and  is a very pretty female terrier mix.  However, she was a BITER!!! No one could even touch her, not even put a collar on.
After spending one entire year at Sally's house in Lamma, she became more friendly and could let people whom she trusts to touch her. Still, she does not have confidence on strangers.
I did not like Harriet at the first place. Simply because she bites, and she also bites other dogs when fighting for food. I have seen her biting Whittaker and hurted his eye. I did not like her at the time.
After 2 visits to Lamma, Harriet and I became very good friends. I Like her very much, and I can tell she also LIKES ME!!
Since Harriet's behaviour has improved a lot, we think that she is ready to be rehomed. We took her to our homing day in February 2007 and she finally found her home on her FIRST HOMING DAY. God, I cried non stop when I saw her leaving Pets Central, no matter the adopters pulling the leash, asked her to go, she was looking at me. I know, she misses me, and I miss her too. I cried and cried. Happy that she found such a lovely home, sad that I would have a lesser chance to see her in the future.
