Now TV-- the Biography Channel

Before the advent of Now TV, we used to subscribe Cable TV paying a very high monthly fee(I think it was as high as about $500 each month), thereafter we switched to Now TV immediately due to its reasonable monthly fee(less than $200 per month) and that if you use netvigator, the Now TV comes with it free, of course with limited number of channels.

I do not normally watch much TV myself, by the time we have dinner, wait for the kids to finish homework, practise their piano, showers etc, it is time for bed anyway, so the girls do not watch TV either, except David of course, for whom a package of cartoon channels are exclusively subscribed.

We have two Now TV subscriptions, one in the sitting room and one in our bedroom, so that we could watch news around the clock while the kids could watch their favour Disney Channel whenever. However, recently I have done something extraordinary, I subscribed a channel for both myself and the kids: the Biography Channel.

As the name dictates Biography Channel is about the lives of many famous people, for politician, Winston Churchill, Einstein, the President of Taiwan, the Chairman Mao of China etc and for celebrities, Elizabeth Hurly, Hugh Grant, Christopher Reeves, The House Versace, The House of Gucci, Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman etc etc and I love it the first time I watched it. I think it is an excellent educational channel for all of us.

I like reading biographies of famous people and like learning from them, having this Biography Channel is like reading so many famous people in a day, it is just great.

If you have Now TV, I highly recommend this channel, really it is absolutely fabulous.
