《功夫熊貓 Kung Fu Panda》 Horrible, horrible, and still horrible I know it's a kid's movie and i don't blame DreamWorks for preaching to the kids but they simply tired too hard They tried to embed a reasoning to almost every line It's almost "zen“ for goodness' sake!
And one thing I couldn't stand is that they have to use mandarin as the dominant language other than english. like 烏龜大師 was called Master "Wu Gwiii" ; like 太郎 was called 'Tai Long" （sorry i don't know how to capture the exact pronunciation, but u got the idea) Its true that there are more mandarin population, but as a hong kong'nese i would prefer cantonese so much more Those ones like 烏龜大師 are still acceptable because they are chinese saying afterall but 太郎 is obviously a japanese term, and should be pronunced as 'taro' yet the production insisted on using mandarin for even a japanese term
