Just recently finished one of the episodes from Grey's Anatomy (my new addiction) called "Enough is Enough". This show is not really a particularly good one in terms of plots and character development; however the script is so great and the cast delivers it well.
This episode is about the contradiction between two extreme - a woman's unconditional love for her drunk and abusive husband and a woman thinks she's not getting enough love. In some way they can be considered the same scenario since the drunk husband's wife isn't getting enough love either. However, one chooses to stay and the latter chooses to walk away.
Here is one of my favorite lines from the show:
Patient: Have you been in love before Doctor? Have you?
Doctor: Love has its limits.
Sometimes I wonder if unconditional love exists in relationship nowadays, it scares me when I see a woman hanging on to something that she calls LOVE but really, it might just be an addiction. I hope I never need to make the choice between staying and walking away. Because as far as I know, I don't think I know the defintion of "Enough is Enough".
