An exhausting week

Because I was extremely busy this week, I couldn't squeeze any time to write blog at all.

Actually I still haven't fully recovered after getting sick last week.  My throat is very itchy all the time.

Tuesday: Usually I need to go to French class at 8PM. However, my boss told me that I needed to go to China the next day so that I had to make sure everything was ready by that night. I got off at 7:30PM finally, I was too tired and I decided not to attend the class.

Wednesday: I was told to arrive at Sheung Shui KCR at 8:30AM. Actually that was good because I could stay on my bed for 20 min more than a usual weekday morning. But my boss called me when I was on the way to Sheung Shui and he said that he was in traffic jam at Tolo Harbour highway. Eventually he arrived at 9:00AM..... sigh.... I could have slept for 30 min more......

After crossing the border, we headed to my client's office (name keeps confidential) in Henggang (橫崗) , a town which takes 45 min north east from Shenzhen by taxi. We were introduced to the staff in charge, actually we had contacted frequently with each other by email and phone calls before. But hey this is quite interesting to meet the real person in front of your eyes, but usually the person is far different from what you imagine. What I needed to get used to at that point was to combine a familiar human voice with a new face. This was really funny to me.

It was a waste of time to be there actually, in the whole morning we just spent 15 min to show the basic features to the engineers, and we just sat there to wait for lunch time. We finished our lunch in a Korean restaurant nearby and at 2PM we headed to another factory for assembling the hand-made sample. But it is in Xixiang(西鄉) which is on the west side of SZ. We spent 1 hr and 15 min to go there and it was 3:30PM when we arrived.

Then the nightmare began..... The people there worked so slowly to assemble the sample. Anyways, by the time we finished, it was.................... 8PM....... I was so tired that night after coming back to HK.

Thursday: I thought that I could be more relax on Thursday but it turned out I was totally wrong, even worst than the day before.

Everything has gone smooth actually during the day, although it was still a busy day but at least I could finish the task on time. Before going to French class that evening, I met Candy in MK and she suggested we had dinner at Mo's Burger. I know the food is expensive there but you have to try once, right?

But just before the meal, my phone rang and it was calling from my boss. You guess what?...... He told me to go back to office after my French class. Oh my goodness was it really so urgent? But before I get the bonus this year I could do nothing but to obey. After the class ended at 9:30PM, I took the taxi from Jordan to Fo Tan (the driver must be very happy) and work until 11:20PM. I was dead after returning home........ passed out......

To be honest, I don't like my job much. The idea of finding another job is always in my head. I don't find any sense of achievement or happiness there. I really want to do something I enjoy.
