Kindle Wireless Reading Device

I am seriously thinking of getting this …. The idea of having thousands of books stored in it sound really good, besides…wouldn’t that be environment friendly too??

And a 3G wireless connection for one-click download is COOL!

Only that I want to hold a real one on hand to see how it really looks/ feel… anyone have one? Comments??

The international version only has a 6" Display..maybe I should wait for the Kindle DX with the 9.7” to becomes available in Hong Kong

bbjo, what's good about buying kindle from amazon is that amazon will keep a record of what you have bought from them, so there is a list of books you've bought in your amazon account, you can d/l some to your kindle whenever you like, or delete them after you've finished reading, but they are still there in the server. i've also d/l kindle software for pc and i can read my books on pc too, there will be other versions like kindle software for mac / iphone later on.

BTW, I have read some comment on amazon. Some said that if the kindle book is no long available for sale on amazon, you can download a copy again even you have paid for it

She has also tell me abt your Kindle too! BTW, for the books you downloaded...can you keep a copy on your computer? If I lost or break the kindle..do I lost all those stored books too?

I think I will get one for sure but waiting for Kindle DX with the 9" screen, some news said that the international version will be available next yr!

I like the feeling of holding a real book too. But I read aqt least 3 books a month so my bookcase is way too full!!

Beside, the good thing abt one-click downing is... its takes less then 1mins to get new release donwload to your kindle. & most new release only have hugh hardcover for the 1st round, someimes I have to wait long for paper back...

I saw this on yy blog and have asked her how to order and how much is it. I have thought of buying this one for your xmas but it is very expensive and buying the ebooks also need $$. so I gave up.

yes..amazon has a large selection of english books. On average for new books, it's around $10. It's kind of cheaper then getting a hard cover on new release! But don't support chinese books yet!
