Yes, the OMN is back on every Monday. It is open for all who are willing to perform on stage, willing to show their talent to all music lovers in the house.

Everyone who wishes to have the opportunity to perform his/her music on the stage is welcome. Simply send us a youtube link of your performance for an audition.

Performers who pass the audition will become the performers on open mic nights.

《綠咖啡唱作人原創音樂優秀選》是Green Coffee 首次舉辦的原創音樂比賽，而A8音樂所主辦的《A8原創中國音樂大賽》已經舉行至第四屆，今次將會由兩個不斷致力推動原創音樂的單位 “A8音樂”與“Green Coffee”攜手合辦首個《A8原創中國音樂大賽》的香港賽區 --- 《綠咖啡唱作人原創音樂優秀選暨第四屆A8原創中國音樂大賽》，繼續發揚原創音樂的精神。

The New Freedom

Classic widescreen melody that will inspire you.

Falling between coldplay, razorlight and crowded house, the new freedom effortlessly combines elements of pop, rock and soul to create an epic and international sound.

The band released its debut album ‘A Thousand Nights’ during 2008 - Produced in NZ by Marshall Smith and Tom Fox@The Sound Room and mixed and mastered by US producer Ed Goldfarb (KD Lang, Morcheba, Boys II Men).

The New Freedom regularly plays in major venues throughout Auckland and festivals with a 5000+ fans base. The band is very excited to be undertaking a tour of China including a Hong Kong Stop at Backstage.

The New Freedom are;

Marshall Smith – Lead Vocal & Keys

(Finalist for ‘Song of the Year’ at APRA Silver Scroll Awards)

Tom Fox – Vocal & Guitar

(ex- Front man of a south Africa band ‘Bright Blue”, Tom co-wrote a song ‘Weeping’ with Josh Groban in 2006, included in an album which went to #1 on USA Billboard Chart in late 2006).

Geoff Perkins – Bass

Chris Grant – Drums and Percussion
