My first blog :)
Currently Reading :
The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
"The group who has read Narnia, and the group who has not."
How Would You Move Mount Fuji? : Microsoft's Cult of the Puzzle -
How the World's Smartest Companies Select the Most Creative Thinkers
by William Poundstone
Finished Last Week :
Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything
by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner
An absolute eye-opener! Just as the title suggests, the authors vigorously discuss the correlation (in some cases, causality) between seemingly unrelated people and things in our everyday lives. His views are extremely unconventional but rather inspiring and, more importantly, entertaining. I would agree that such topics are not nearly as practical though - it is unlikely they'd become the topics of my daily conversation with others. And unless I can make my points as thoroughly and in such convincing ways as can Levitt, I doubt I can make such arguments in real life. A very interesting read indeed.
Other recent readings :
The Memoirs of a Geisha - Arthur Golden
Digital Fortress - Dan Brown
Deception Point - Dan Brown
Angels & Demons - Dan Brown
State of Fear - Michael Crichton
Next Book (???)
The World Is Flat : A Brief History of the 21st Century by Thomas L. Friedman

I've actually heard about it very recently, but I've never read it. Been reading too much ancient philosophy lately, it's getting a bit exhausting....i do need a fun read indeed!!!

you have read memoir of a geisha? I read it five years ago and it is my favourite book ( not ONE OF my favourite bookS)
I find the story fascinating, I just couldn't put it down even I was doing volunteer work in mainland China village. I kept on reading it during the shaking bus ride.
What a coincidence, I re-read it yesterday !
