I remember long time ago if we need to make a PCB you have couple of choice

1) Use the fine ink Marker plot the circuitry on the board and use the Ferric Chloride (FeCl3) to etching the not necessary copper area.

2) Use transprint paper outline the circuitry and use mylar sheet photo copy out.

Recently I browse Taobao WEB and noticed some Dry flim is available. It is good and let your product making more professional. However, furthermore I have seen the following video which is more advance.

a, You only need a laser printer and some printing sheet wich can easily brought from Store

b, The example seems like a Thru Hole board. but I am sure SMD board still work. Of course you cannot have too congested wire layout

c, Finally you can see the video show you how to tinned the PCB circuit route. this is amazing and good to protect the circuit indeed.

Please see the following video for self explain. Enjoy!

Yes. I agree the tonner transfer method is better. I used the method to make double side PCB for the M-Blocks project.

Yes. your decription even more details. The appealing point on this project is the final step. they use liquid Tin to make the route shinny. Its brilliant and nice!

It's too troblesome! Too many steps! Use photo sensitive boards instead!!!!

May be. however, your circuit can print out directly and transprint on the board already save alot of time and make sure the outcome is pefect.(Photo sensitive board not guarantee the result somtimes). this use Hot Iron, but another people using hot laminator. The result show good and simple then using hot iron.
