Tonight, I Put together two legs with the body (simply using a cabinet which brought from Wah Fai. since the plastic is tough enough and light weight). This can help to minimize the difficulties making the body and get more space for the circuitry, batteries,....etc. For Prototype I thought it would be acceptable.
See the robot is a bit funny, I assumed using stereo vision for next step (first step make the robot walk first) While I put the body together, I got a very interesting name of this robot. See this like a Frog, I also imagine the pocket PC acting as a main CPU to control this robot, then the robot will be looking like a scuba-Diver. thus, I given the name of this robot Scuba-Frog 7. In cantonese, for tallest guy we usually said 高腳七. then the number 7 is come from this. Is that funny? Hahahaha...
I am going to order a 21channel sequencer from R-Wu. Hope this can be received this week. Then, I can starting the control, algorithm (since I read lot of book, now is the time to evaluate this knowledge and put those in real. another hard job for myself).
All robot developers, No matter how busy of yourself, Don't give up and focus on your terget, Hope we can have some solid work out in nearly future. Cheers!

Thank you. In fact, H5450 is widely compatible with lot other model in IPAQ, so I assumed H3600 is the same too. finally this is wrong. H3600 is 15pins but H5450 is 22pins as you listed.

I just know that the pin is numbered from right to left when viewing towards the socket on the PPC from the link below, but again don't know correct or not.

The pins are so fine and hard to count by eye, so I take a photo by DC and count on screen, it really has 26 pins. Also I have found on web it's corresponding 26 pins socket for sell. So by now, I am quite sure about this. But I don't know whether the pin definition is correct or not.
Especially your connector only got 15 pins whereas on the web, it's definition is 22 pins.

Hi Homer,
I forgot to mention if you use the port directly from you ppc, there is a chance that it's hsing 3.3V rs232 signal instead of 5V. Therefore you can NOT connect it directly to the pc.
But I think it's okay if you connect it through the cradle.

I install the pc2003 runtime in my PDA, but it prompt out an error message. Luckily it can finish the installtion. I copy my first program in my PDA and run it. It also work but with the "Hello World" break into two lines and part of it can not be seen. I hope I can figure it out soon.
The more big question is how can I send out rs232 signal from my PDA, I know there is CF to rs232 device , but my PDA only got SDIO and a USB host.

我也很想啊! 可惜在 PDA 內編程我不太懂,不知會否很難呢! 我只需要在按鍵時發出指定的 RS 232 訊號便可以了。讓我也看看你說的 eVB 3.0 是甚麼東西。
