my aunt #4 gave me this book yesterday, which was given to her by a friend sometime ago.
she learnt that gigi and i are working hard in our little workshop everyday, and so she passed on this book to us.
although the book isn't new, but i take this as an encouragement, in a special "form".
thank you, auntie #4!
i flipped through the first few pages and these lines caught my eyes:
there are endless creative thoughts happening within the markets of London,
they reflect the liberal art scene and creative spirit.
Even the 7 year old man who sells broken electrical plugs
totally reflect the city's spirit/madness.
and that exactly is how a craft market should be - reflect the spirit of a city and inspire creativity.
i wish, we could see that in Hong Kong, one day....
