Contraction

For those who don't know, I'm 24-week pregnant.  What happened in the past weekend was really nerve-wrecking.

A minor soreness started developing around my left tummy area on Thurs night, I couldn't sleep the entire night since the soreness elevated to pain. First thing the next morning, we went to the clinic but couldn't locate my OBGYN, so I was sent home.  The pain grew stronger and stronger that I couldn't even stand straight!  So my friend drove me to my OBGYN later that afternoon, there they realized I had a minor contraction going on, so I was sent to the hospital immediately.

In the hospital, they gave me 3 shots in 5 hours but still couldn't stop the contraction! I was extremely terrified since the contraction along with the pain became so intense and frequent, one after another! I prayed so hard that baby won't come out in just 24 weeks! Finally, they gave me another "not-so-preferred" medicine and that slower the contraction.

I am so glad the contraction has finally gone, and now I am home to fulfil my bedrest for the rest of the week. I am on medication every 4 hours in case the contraction comes back.  

Thank you very much for those who prayed and visited us.  Though it was such a nerve-wrecking experience, I learned something new and realized what God wants to teach us out from this.
