Mom admitted to the ER

9月5日晚，竹君師母因血壓下降，送到醫院急診室。9月6日凌晨，院方將她轉至加護病房(ICU)。詳情如下。

Just wanted to send a quick update.

Today we wanted to take Mom into the ER to get an IV drip since she hasn't been doing well physically.  Mom didn't want to go so Caleb called the paramedics to come administer the IV at home. When they saw that her blood pressure was too low, they took her into the ER. After some blood & urine tests, they found that her blood platelet count has worsened.  It is now 21,000 so it hasn't improved from last time.  She may need a blood transfusion.  Her sodium level is also low. When people have too little sodium they may be prone to seizures. She also has some blood in her urine & her urine is cloudy, so most likely she has some sort of urinary tract infection (UTI).  Please pray that with the medical intervention she'll be able to make a full physical recovery.  The proton therapy has also caused some personality & memory changes, so it's been difficult for Dad.  Please continue to keep him in your prayers.
