Vacation - Day 1

Having worked my butt off for the last few weeks...finally it is Day 1 of my 3 week vacation...it is so nice to wake up naturally (i.e. without an alarm clock) in the morning...and having the luxury of thinking what to do during the day as opposed to running late for work and meetings etc....

I have about 5 ideas of what I should do with myself today but I know if I don't get off this chair and the computer in the next five minutes...I will probably ended up staying at home the whole day and doing nothing productive....

I did manage to get off the chair and was about to visit the Museum of History (I was told there is an exhibition about HSBC and no admission fee on Wed)...but then I received a call from my cardiologist to go to his office to discuss the results of my recent annual check up...after waiting for over an hour...it was finally my turn...except one minor problem my heart is doing fine....which is a huge relief ....

By the time I left the doctor's office it is almost time to go and visit Dad...I still do not understand why they have dinner at 5 pm at the nursing home...Dad was quite chatty today and seems happy but deep down I know he is still finding it hard being away from home...I saw tears in his eyes last night...I can only pray that he finds comfort and joy from the Lord...
