My birthday (今年生日怎樣過?)

I was blessed this year with my birthday celebration. Colleagues bought me my favorite tiramisu cake from COVA! You just cannot resist the temptation of such a creamy, but non-greasy cake!

Along with the X'mas party that we organize with our own initiative, we tried to make it the way we want. With good food and games that fit us. Colleagues sent me their childhood photos. I edited them and they were asked to figure out the identity. They also had to tell one interesting, remarkable or unforgetable experience that happened during their childhood. It was a very interesting and entertaining way to let us understand others' past.

On my birthday, I went to Lamma Island with my husband. It was a chilly cold day.

I haven't been to Lamma for several years. The temple remains, but the windmill is a signature plant for the power company.

We went to the French Table during the night! The bread was freshly made. It was very crispy with the skin, but soft inside and full of the orange scent. The fresh Canadian Green Whelks was very delicious too! 

The mushroom soup was full of strong mushroom flavor and an interesting garlic smell. It was different from the usual garlic we had for meals. I strong recommend this soup!

Grilled Australian Wagyu (M9) Rib-eye steak with black truffle sauce. It was very juicy!!!

The restaurant bought me the wrong cake that my husband previously ordered. Therefore, they use my own dessert as the cake. This strawberry napoleon is still delicious. My husband never sang in the public. When I was presented this special birthday dessert, he video-taped me by singing me the birthday song! It was an exceptional and sweet experience both for him and for me!

I was not aware of the fact that my husband bought me this digital photo frame as the present. Yeah, I was very very much suprised! It is actually a gift that I love and he already selected many pictures of us together and my favoriate songs.

What makes me feel blessed this year was that I received many sms birthday greeting messages and a long list of greetings at facebook! It was not that I expected. Even friends that did not contact frequently still remembered my birthday! I would like to give big thank you hugs for them. Special thanks go to 寶貝．貓BB !!!  She managed to send greetings to me .... just right after their own wedding anniversary celebration and the x'mas celebration at a wild island! thank you very much!
