翻閱前文，居然發現前一個月太多音樂會了，原來這段文章還沒有寫完，只有狗尾續貂，繼續下去。把我在飛機上，最喜歡的音樂，和大家介紹。
選擇適當音樂是飛行中最重要的，多年下來，選了下面好幾張，百聼不厭，帶來陽光希望，洗滌旅程疲勞的精品。
Bach 的小無和 Bach 大無
這兩部作品是Bach 器樂作品的瑰寶。如果你和巴哈有緣分的話，第一次聼就會着迷，令你心平氣和，氣息閒定。這也是難度極高的樂曲，不少演奏家終身研究的聖經，以演奏為榮，為成功試金石。小提琴的六首分爲奏鳴曲和舞曲各三首，大提琴則六首舞曲。如果說Paganini 的24 Caprice 是提琴硬功之最，巴哈的是要求内外兼收，技術和音樂的修養具備，以前已經詳細介紹過大無，有機會來一個小無三十版本比較。我 ipod 上有多個版本。最喜歡的是 Szeryng 的小無，和Starker 的 RCA 版本。
這兩首樂曲，正是清心寡慾，煩躁消除，好把旅程繼續。保持心態正常。 平常在家很少能一口氣聼完，試試看，也不需要太認真，就把它當作背景音樂，感覺很不一樣。我認識北京一位畫家就最喜歡用它來伴他繪畫。

巴哈鍵盤作品也是多如繁星，管風琴的大概不合耳機了，最喜歡是平均律和Goldberg 變奏曲。Goldberg 是巴哈鍵盤音樂中最容易接受的一首。一個Aria 三十二個變奏，扣扣相連，工整非常，旋律美妙，極像三十二首短曲一樣。許多人就因此愛上了巴哈。 將來會寫一段分享我的收藏，我在 ipod 上不是衆望所歸 Glenn Gould 震驚世界的 1951 版本，而是 Perahia 傷后復出灌錄的一張。
十二平均律劃新時代的作品，一個八度分成十二個音符，讓我們對和諧有新的定義，欣賞巴哈，一定要欣賞他的fugue 賦格，比美中國文學的詩詞和詞牌，此曲成雙成對，Prelude 配上Fugue。中間大珠小珠下玉盤，是嚴肅，工整，純音樂 absolute music 的極品。我不懂彈鋼琴，但縂覺得聼下來親切無比，不是Mozart 的天籟，但是差異中有和諧，和諧中帶差異性。time and time again 陪我橫跨太平洋，讓我安祥，如入定老僧。樂曲成名演繹甚多，ipod上我也換了幾次，現在聼得最多是 Angela Hewitt 的十年前的版本，聽説新版本出來了，希望有機會比較。

Thank you for your suggestion. Starker's RCA is only available at hmv.co.jp. Once I have found a number of CDs to order, then I will get this.
BTW, from some source, I heard that Isserlis uses gut strings for his cello (for all performances)

看來我要把 Mullova 的小無也加進ipod。
大無如果不喜歡Starker，來個Isserlis 的演繹。
Richter 的平均律，有新的SHMCD版，音效更好。

Dear Newbjman,
I am currently preparing music to be input to my new iPod as my old 1st iPod's battery is dying. For my new iPod, I have the followings recordings of Bach's Violin Sonata and Partita, Cello Suites, Well-Tempered Piano and Goldberg Variations:
Violin Sonata & Partita:
Milstein (EMI Mono Version) - my favourite
Kremer (2nd try issued by ECM) - I like his new angle, though not many find his approach uncomfortable
Mullova (Onyx) - using gut strings and baroque violin - Interesting to see how a modern violinist deflected to Baroque Violin playing
Cello Suite:
Casals (EMI 1930's edition, mastered by a Korean CD Company) - Sound surprisingly good
Fouriner (DGG) - a warm and humane performance
A third one will be added to the iPod, but yet to decide (suggestion welcomed)
Well-Tempered Piano
Tureck (DGG 1950's) - a classics recording.
I also have Richter's set at home, yet to decide whether to pump it in the iPod. However, I should also consider the Hewitt's set.
Goldberg Variations
Perahia (haha, we do have a consensus this time ^^)
Landowsky (EMI mono in Harpsichord)
Chamber Orchestra Version (ECM) (This is a string trio version issued by Tacet in SACD)
