Some of u may not agree due to the religious background....BUT... i think some of them applies to non Christian....

A-cceptance (accept the badness/goodness of your other half)
B-elief/value (same value)
C-ommunication (be able to communicate with each other)
D-evotion (ready to devote urself for him/her)
E-motion (be able to control ur emotion in a mature way)
F-aith
G-oal (have the same goal)
H-oliness

Yet it is diffiuclt to put it into practice. Satan wil give you challenges when you are in misery or even when you are happy. God will let you handle it with the free will.
We need to hope for the best and prepare for the worse.
We need courage to go through the torrents. Bless all those who are in trouble now.
