Dark Chocolate Cake for Sis' b-day

阿妹九月初生日, 佢鈡意食 chocolate cake, 所以整咗個送俾佢.  但佢話有少許硬, 下次用另一個 recipe 再整個俾佢啦

Dark Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

2 cups boiling water

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

2 3/4 cups all purpose flour

2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup butter (softened)

2 1/4 cups sugar

4 eggs

1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Method:

1.  Preheat oven to 350 F

2.  Mix cocoa powder with boiling water till smooth.  Let cool.

3.  Sift all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.  Set aside.

4.  Cream butter and sugar till pale.  Beat in egg one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.  Add flour and cocoa alternatively.

5.  Pour into 3-9 inch pan evenly and bake for about 25-30 mins.
