這是我第一次品嘗的加洲 Cabernet Sauvignon. 我在東涌的Taste買下他. 我記得當時其實有2000, 2001 及 2002年選擇. 因為我唔知邊一年係好vintage, 所以就是但搵支最早嘅年份. 返到屋企上去Robert Parker 嘅網頁對下個Vintage Chart. Oh!!!!原來2000年唔係好年份, 得78份. 不過2001就好好, 有96份. 當場後悔莫及, 不過唔買都買咗, 算啦, 試多啲酒對我這個初哥來說係好事.
講番支酒啦! 酒身都幾豐厚, 飲落幾有口感. 同我之前飲過的C.S. 比較(澳洲及法國), 苦澀味低(單寧少?), 果味幾重, 酸度低, 好咸(有Blog友都係咁講,但其他人話呢啲叫礦物味). 另外, 我就飲唔出支酒Back label所講嘅vanilla on the finish, 亦飲唔出oaky.

Wine course.... I've never thought about at this stage (I'd rather to spend my money on wine cellar first since I haven't got one yet). However, heard about the courses in OUHK (course no. 53560) are recommended (um... seems expensive to me) by others on web.
Also, have made a search on Yahoo's knowledge and here is a piece of information:

The wine bar is located in Tin Hau (皇仁書院對面, 濃情餐廳樓上), but I forget its name. It was the only one wine bar I visited so far so I am not sure whether it's service is ok or not, however, its environment is ok for me. Actually, I don't perfer to taste wine in the bar as it is more expensive. For example, the "Highfield Marlborough Pinot Noir 2004" cost me $420.
Ha, thanks for your info. I will go to visit the forum later on. What's my favourite wine? I am not sure coz I am still a beginner in wine. So, I think I have to taste more wine. BTW, I have interest to study some wine course. Any good course apart from WSET one? WSET is good but it is too expensive.

....Wine Bar. Where is it and how's the service? Sometimes, thinking about to have a glass wine is quite a good idea since I am not able to finish a whole bottle at one time. If there is a good wine bar to go, I'll try it later on. If you refer to other wine lover's Blog here (also the Red Wine forum at www.discuss.com.hk), you'll see they always gather wine dinners, seems a lot of fun.
What are your favourites in wines?

I see. Thanks for your information. I will try to find it. BTW, I have tried one New Zealand Pinot Noir namely "Highfield Marlborough Pinot Noir 2004" at the wine bar before. I think the retail price of it is around $240. It is quite good.

Nice to meet you and thank you for visiting my blog. I've read a wine magazine before and see the Ernest & Juilo Gallo Pinot Noir also. But where can I buy it? I cannot find it in supermarket and watson's cellar. BTW, Back label means 樽背的label only.

As you've tired the Cab. Sauv. of Ernet & Juilo Gallo, I prefer you can try its Pinot Noir, it's pretty good (though I've heard someone said Pinot Noir out of France is not 'real' pinot noir).
.... what is 'Black Label'?? A website or wine book?
