Joey Yung Starlight Concert
Joey Yung will be having her Starlight concert on Saturday March 7, 2009 at CotaiArena™.
Since her debut in 1999, Joey Yung has achieved much success and is recognized for her talent as one of the best new generation canto-pop singers. Within her short career span, she has released 31 albums and received over 250 local and international awards, including TVB “Jade Solid Gold” Best Female Singer for the past four consecutive years.
In 2005 she won more than 20 awards and received the highest honor award: The Media Award, which is presented to the artiste who accumulated the most awards from the 4 major music award ceremonies in Hong Kong. In addition to earning that honor, Joey was also the youngest singer in history to have won this award.
Being the first Hong Kong artiste to perform with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra for her concert last year, Joey’s breakthrough shows demonstrate her progression into one of the top talents in Hong Kong’s entertainment industry.
