The harvest season & Saxophone master classes...

Just finished the first day of the saxophone master classes. In fact, this $2000 dollars is really worth to pay. Really, those masters are on the international stage. If you ask me again, I would have the same answer! They helped me to clarify many problems about the saxophone, in many different ways. I was really damn exciting during the class today!

Before commenced on these lessons today, my head was full of questions! The first thing is that, you know so many people interpreted saxophone’s techniques in different ways. They have their own interpretation on each one, but who is the standard, or which one should be followed? After that, I fully understood! If I make quotation from these masters whose stands for dominant role in the sphere of saxophone, hopefully , I would not be wrong!

Just at the first few hours, they clarified all my questions on my head. Later on, step by steps they explained more and more, even those issues we wouldn’t concerns at all! But music is music! Music is not just playing all the notes but also intonation, articulation, adjustment of your own instrument and interpretation. Many things! Many of that I didn’t pay attention before but I've got these concepts by now! Especially on the “Reeds” topic, I didn’t do many researches about it and just took a glance often. By the way, I still have many rooms to improve myself on saxophone!

I have another good news today! Eventually, I got my result on my diploma course. These two years’ hard work made me realized “ if you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail! ”
