Set up the stage for my English ~

Hi !

I'm here to tell yuo all one thing,

that's it MY ENGLISH IS IMPROVING!    

Last saturday, I went to Admiralty and when I went home by MTR ,

a family came to me and asked, " How to get to Jordan? "

They spoke in Mandarin and that's why my mind was blank for a sudden.

Gosh! I haven't spoken in Mandarin for years! Help!

My first thought was that " You should go upstair and take Tsuen Wan line. You will get to  Jordan afterwards /   "

See?

If I'm not speaking in my mother tongue, my second language surely is English. I speak in English very naturally.  

At that time, I uncovered that English has already be part of my life , too !

Let's continue the story. Back to the Chinese family. I used my very poor Mandarin and told them the way to Jordan. It's obvious that they didn't understand any words I said ~ And they were very impatient and it seems that they're pettish.

Oh no! How come ! You're tourist and was asking me for help. And then how dare you used such bad attitude towards me ?

It's very impolite. That's the difference between Chinese and Westerners. Most of the Chinese are very rude as if thery're uneducated.

Yesterday, I went to Macdonald's and a foreign women (with her lovely child
)  asked me if they could sit near me .

They were nice! Through observing them, I found that the child's mom treated her child very politely. She said so many " please " in their conversation ! This showed her respect to her child !

That's something Chinese can never do .

Chineses think elder generation are always greater, superior and no need politeness towards the youth.

How disgusting , superficial and outdated !

One more thing. When I hear some westerners talking, I understand most of the words they say !

Hahaha ~

My listening is improving !

Now,

I'm trying to put most of my things I learnt in practice.
