夜訓wor!!!
首播o個陣, 我已經身在加拿大. 又冇機會睇, 到有機會睇的時候, 已經後一年後的事.
係朋友burn出黎d碟. 一隻4集. 狂睇, 食野又睇, 放學又睇, 煲得好辛苦.
之後間唔中都煲一煲. 不過由於尾段比較感情戲份多d. 所以全劇比例係 3:1. 頭20集煲多d.
當然. 好睇, 幾大開界. 不過呢, 自從識飛, 再煲返. 發覺原來有d野係錯ge!!哈哈.
不過overall黎講, 個quality 幾好. 當然啦, 如果尾段感情戲份少d, 多d飛機上的事會好d. 可以透露多d 少人為知的事也好!!
我唔知香港而家做到幾多集. 不過大家繼續支持. 航空界好正. flying is fun!!

我個人覺得劇集中的馬德鐘風流,吳鎮宇有型,感情,友情認真......陳慧珊和吳鎮宇比較相襯,胡杏兒與陳健峄,吳卓羲與葉旋相襯啊!
相信現實中,你們不會整套制服行出街,及沒有像他們的那麼空閒,
雖然劇集中大部份是肥皂,但亦都有可觀的一面.
如果還有續集我希望有吳鎮宇

what's ur plan after you got 1000 hours.. if you can get that before Feb..that's really quick i would say ... are you going to stay in Canada and look for a job ? what's ur plan...going back to Asia? I know you wanna fly king air.. me too, i mean pilots like me with low hours... really struggles.. like..where to get those extra hours... some of my colleagues actually went into big companies like BA or Ryainair etc etc...with the same exp.. I will try for sure, but as a back up plan . I wanna think about Canada as well... cuz it's my home.... so, just wanna hear what ur comments.. since you are actually in Canada now..u know what the market is like over there...
I've seen a couple.. they state it's hiring on the website... but i haven't actually tried..cuz i don't have their licence just yet...so, I am sure what the feedback of job hunting in Canada.. so.... wanna listen to urs ..and see.
btw...jst wanna know do you have msn etc... so that can talk to u directly instead.. it's quicker.. if you don't mind... cheers matey .. hope we can both help.... not sure can I help u or not...but at least same kinda boat , wanna get into big jet. haha.

i have couple target companies i want to work for, either in Canada, Asia, Hong Kong, Australia. Really depends. i can go anywhere in the world. just like if i have a gf in HK, why not going bak to HK?? i am so flexible on location. the more people u know, the more options u have.
i really want to fly metroliner and twin otter. Twin otter is a initial step to jump to Dash 8, Jumping to Dash 8 will end up with working for Air Canada Jazz. Metroliner is easy flying turbine aircraft.
Oil price is high but pilots are needed. i am very optimistic on aviation industry. Plus, if u r willing to move ,at the end u will get a job.
it's tough coz u may live alone, no social life at all/. but this is ur dream, sometimes u need give up something.

to be honest.. is it that difficult to look for a job in Canada??? do you have a canadian passport though??? cuz i did look on the website.. i saw some regional small airlines in Canada.. they actually require you to have a CPL + Multi IFR that's all, didn't really state how much hours you need....and some of them will put you to become a dispatcher first for a certain period of time before they move you onto the aircraft... that's what I see on the internet.... and that's why i wanna convert my licence so that I can look for a job in both areas.. sorta like a benefit to me.. i'm not sure is that the right way.. but certainly doesn't harm I guess... but what i see is time plus money again... cuz of the conversion...what I need now is a job + experience.. i guess being an instructor like you is good too.. but I really don't fancy being one.. unless it really comes to the end when nothing happens, that's my last option.. i guess...

i don't have a Canada passport. i am on visa, i need work permit to stay in canada. Maybe looking for citizenship in the future.
like what they said, CPL, TT, multi time is more than enough to get a turbine job. i would say 1000 hrs is more than enough.
u r right, some of them require u to work dispatch or even ramp for a period of time before they promote u to fly. But personally i don't recommend coz they won't guarantee anything. they may say they dont need pilots now and request to work on the ground even longer time, by the time they promote u, ur IFR may expire already.
Working as instructor in MFC is not a bad idea, to be very honestly, this is not a perfect world, u may not like certain areas of the college, like the pay, working time whatnot but to build time, this is a ideal college u want to go. Right now, the college offers me money to get the instructor rating but has to work for mini. 2 years. BUT u can always break the contract whenever u have enough money. 24 months for $10000, the pay will be reduced 1/24 each month.
i can tell how u feel, not much people like being an instructor. it's a tough work, working period is long, pay low etc. Quicker to build the time up is the main reason why i choose to stay.
And Companies may be impressed by u coz u have instructing experience.

hey man, barvo!!!! wouldn't believe you are actually from Moncton College.. what a small world.. I can sorta guess at the beginning you are from here by what u wrote in ur forum.....you know what, I actually thought of going to this school initially... hahaa... cuz they do JAA licence, however, they don't provide integrated training...that isn't sth I fancy, and cuz most of the airlines prefer integrated students.. in fact, I don't think it matters when it comes to the end.. anyways, I've spoken with one of your guys in the JAA department around a year ago regarding to this training thing.... I think his name is Max Strempel (sth like that).. i'm not sure does, need to check my email later if he still works there.. but he is from UK as well, and he told me Moncton has a connection with one of the schools in UK calls Cabair... well, it actually states in the website too... and I'm from Cabair actually....hahaa.. if you have a chance to speak with ur Chief pilot again tomorrow or later this week. Would you please ask him this for me ??? I think it will be even easier for me to convert if that's the case... since both schools have already had some kinda connections.. haha.. small world small world.. you know it's kinda hard to bump into someone who both are in the same boat.....actually you are more advance than me.. cuz you have the instructor rating... but i'm really glad i can meet you here.... hope you can help me out here...I wouldn't mind come over to do it.. if that's the case... i mean both schools are using the diamonds...much easier,

Max, he's gone already, he's now in Middle East but not sure what he's doing now.
u mention Cabair, i know couple people from Cabair as well, they are doing their CPL here. So how's Cabair? what kind of organization is that? is it an airline? Charter company? or flight training unit?
i talked to both JAA instructors and our licensing officer. they told me what u have to do is to have couple review flight and then a flight test+ a written exam. Sorry to tell u but this is the requirement. it's little bit different from PPL, Foreign PPL can be converted by a review flight but they are little strict on CPL and IFR.
if u are interested in coming here, i can definitely provide you wif more information on instructor course and the conversion. Basically, we open the course every 3 months. the earliest one u may join would be in Sept.
Btw, we got 2 cessna, i can't say it's brand new but very advanced avionics and interior, much better than those from 1978.
