      失望但並不失敗

      早在星期5, 我打去國泰問結果, 見到個title ,大家都知個結果係negative.

      失望, 一定係失望. 係好失望. 好可惜, 只係差一步. 差少少我就可以過終點.

      心情當然唔好, 過左幾日, 而家好d.

      事實上, this is not the end of the world. 繼續努力, 路依然要繼續行.

      Always stay positive.

      再黎過啦, 而家先20出頭, no point to feel upset for a long time.

      keep it up!!一年後, 捲土重來.

      我會用一年時間再裝備好自己, 用今次的經驗, 去迎接將來的挑戰.

      有in國泰經驗的朋友都知道, 第2次會比第一次難度高, 但高並不代表冇可能.

      前面一樣有成功例子. 俾d耐性, 刻苦d, 一年後再黎過.

      今次肯定唔係一個失敗, earn到的experience係有$$都買唔到.  大開眼界.

      我有朋友到30歲先入到...那麼我如果要俾耐性等多一,兩年也不為過.

      放心啦. 我冇事.

      生活唔會因為有obstacles而容許我停下來.


      我而家o係加拿大,其實take緊instructor course,差不多過左一半.

      預計8月到就會成為instructor, 可以出黎教人飛.

      同教車師傅差不多, 都係教人由唔識到識.

      教人飛可以令自己的knowledge base更好, 因為as an instrucotr, u have to know way much more than a student in order to teach.

      我已經準備好, 期待新工作的來臨. 到明年,我就會試多次.

      咁啦, 我都知今次的結果令大家好失望, 但只要你地繼續黎, 總有一天, 我的topic會係

      "國泰終於收左我喇"

      "只要有信心,凡事有可能"


      這幾星期以來, 真係好多謝你地的支持. 你地的留言, 撐左我好多. 每每溫到攰, 諗返起你地的留言. 我仲點可以停落黎呢??

      大家都一齊努力啦. 明天可以更好, 明年可以更加好.

        其實, 最好個background 好d, 始終有優勢.
        同埋. 開始留意下航空知識.
        盡量識多D aviation knowledge, 如果你第時考CPP, 但係連一d basic ge aviation knowledge都唔識, identify 唔飛機型號, 咁好自然令人懷疑你對飛行的熱誠, 不妨睇多d, 聽多d. 同埋英文能力真係要好好, 佢地好易就睇得出你的英文係咪流利.
        識聽,識講, 唔夠, 係要流利, 因為你第時飛, 係要面對好多國家ge人講的英文, 如果background 唔好, 未必聽得到ga

        anywayz, prepare urself to become a competitive candidate.

        If i were u, i would try to work as an instructor to gain some hrs, then fly for small cargo company like http://www.flightexpress.com/pilot_employment_freight_jobs.htm
        once u earn enough hrs, then u may start apply for commuter airlines.

        i will probably start my career in canada.
        and then jump to turbine and final destination probably an airline job.

        ideal airlines, of course CX, KA, coz i am from HK ma!!!!

        人生中的不同經歷都是我們吸收智慧的機會，沒有人喜歡遇到挫折，也不是付出過的便一定得到，但是我們要記着，假如 "得不到" ，也要從中 "學到" ，那你的付出才沒有白費！

        最重要的是你仍有目標和自信心，前路是由自己去行出來的，我很喜歡你的命題 "失望但並不失敗" ，可以當飛行教練也是難得的經驗呢！

        今次旅行, 真係學到好多野, 好多技巧, 真係唔係上堂先學到.
        當然如果得左就會為這次旅程畫上完全句號. 但世事往往不是完美.

        下次啦, 今次的經驗, 係為下次的成功作一個好好的根基.

        flight instructor其實係一份幾有挑戰性的工作. 我相信我有能力接受挑戰.

        hey , how's you going these daysss?? getting better ? and i wanna ask you question , how's the flying condition in winter at your place ??coz ... i wanna start my instructor rating if i can 't get the news from cx .but the weather is suc in winter @Vancover, do you have any suggestion to start my course somewhere in Canada?

        Honestly, i highly recommend people coming here to instruct.

        to be honest with u, the weather during winter time is crappy but u can still get to fly. Plus we open almost through the year except x'mas day and the new year. 24/7.

        the best thing of our school is we have contracts with 南方航空, 東方航空, 深圳, 廈門, 國航,這幾間airlines' cadets. u will have a lot of opportunities to fly. good for time building.

        Coming to my college is a pretty good way to start ur career , couple of my frds have already jumped to turbine jobs

        but again this is ur decision, u may ask people from forums.

        i know. i will keep working hard.

        this is only a small part in my entire life. no point to discourage myself.

        Sorry to hear what you had came across with CX. I'm sure you can do better next time. good luck ~!!!  However, there's a question I would like to ask you if you don't mind. Which program did you actually applying to ? the cadet pilot program or the SO direct entry program? I'm just curious..  cheers

        the program that i applied is a FTA scholarship program. newly introduced this year.

        如果我是你

        就唔會入國泰

        入左國泰全都要重新train過

        train完坐三年so位先至有得升jfo

        如果在國外的regional airlines到做,5年內可以升做captain

        到時夠鐘數,合約完左返港搵工都未遲

        我而家都做住instructor先,

        希望可以o係加拿大上到turbine. 跟手上CRJ, 有jet time, 到時入國泰DESO都得.

        不過呢.......lee段時間會勁lonely lor, 加拿大冇人冇物.

        做一個好的instructor 唔易,

        coz 學生唔識飛, 肯定會做好多估你唔到的事情, 加上某d exercises幾刺激. 如果佢地handle唔到, 好易出事.

        希望d學生自己乖d, 溫熟d procedures先上機啦.

        同埋唔好o係架機嘔, 因為我要清潔ga!!!

        somehow i know the feeling ge, cos once i was also "disappointed". but ur situation is much better than many of us who got "disappointed" after interview, cos no matter what, u get to fly! so keep flying!
        Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead. I believe nothing is going to hold u back from ur goal!

        hopefully jumping to a larger jet in the nearest future.

        of course , cathay is still top of my list.

        i am still walking towards my goal
