
跟媽媽行街經過漁店,看見青口做特價(CND3.99 for 2lbs),好似好抵。。。心思思想買些回家自己煮。雖然從未試過,但不久前在 Food Network 看過 Bobby Flay 的示範,好像非常簡單,所以便買下兩大袋。
回家找了食譜,買好材料,開工!真的好易,味道又好,跟餐廳的差不多呢。以後也不需用貴價在外面吃青口了!
1 tbsp olive oil
2 shallots, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 bulb fennel, thinly sliced
1 large tomato, cubed
3/4 cup white wine
1/2 cup cream
4 lbs mussels
1/3 cups fresh basil leaves, torn
salt to taste
Heat olive oil, stir in shallots and garlic, cook till tender. Stir in fennel and tomato, cook 5 minutes.
Add wine and cream, bring to boil.
Gradually stir in mussels, 1/2 the basil, and salt.
Cover saucepan, cook 5 minutes, till mussels have opened. Garnish with basil.

Cream is "whipping cream" you can find in the dairy section at the supermarket. 35% fat.

I found another recipe that uses more a tomato base... but need to find fresh mussels before I can try it out.
