每個人總有方法去令自己開心,有D人會去shopping,有D人會去瞓覺,有D人會去打機........而我........就喺食/整甜品!

最近D蘋果好靚,於是隨手執起兩個,用埋雪櫃Dcrescent roll dough,就整咗個apple dumpling 食。天氣冷冷,再吃著熱乎乎香噴噴嘅apple dumpling,幸福甜蜜嘅感覺真喺直湧心頭。開心就喺咁簡單!

春、夏、秋、冬,我獨愛秋天。每當駕著車經過有兩旁大樹的路,風捲起紅紅黃黃的落葉,真喺好有詩意!最近買咗D新cookie cutters,所以一於應一應節,整咗D紅葉、南瓜、松鼠形狀cookies。

D紅葉cookies 好搶手,未影相就話咁快俾屋企嘅"為食" 孖寶食哂!有時睇見自己心愛嘅人食得開心,自己都會好開心!

D小小 cookies 就喺老公大人嘅至愛!

Apple dumplings

Ingredients :

2 Large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored

2 (10oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup butter

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 (12oz) can or bottle Mountain Dew

Directions :

1. Preheat oven to 350 F or 175 C. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

2. Cut each apple into 8 wedges and set aside. Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles. Roll each apple wedge in crescent roll dough starting at the smallest end. Pinch to seal and place in the baking dish.

3. Melt butter in a small saucepan and stir in the sugar and cinnamon. Pour over the apple dumplings. Pour Mountain Dew over the dumplings.

4. Bake for 35 to 45 mins or until golden brown.

 

Sugar cookies

Ingredients :

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

Directions :

1. Cream together the butter and sugar. Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract. Sift together the flour,baking powder and salt and stir into the creamed mixture alternately with the heavy cream. Cover dough with plastic wrap, and chill for 2 to 3 hours until firm.

2. Preheat oven to 350 F or 175 C. 

3. Place the cookie dough in between two wax papers and roll out to 1/4 inch thickness. Remove the top layer of wax paper and cut dough into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Make sure the cookies 1 inch apart on the wax paper, then place it on the cookie sheet and bake for 12 to 14 mins, or until bottoms and edges of cookies are light brown. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire racks.

4. Decorate the cookies with tinted royal icing and let dry. Keep cookies in an airtight container or bags for storage.
