      October 30 -- High Junk Peak Country Trail

      Dear all,

      We last visited this country trail on 25.4.2008.  If the sky is clear this Friday, we may have a beautiful view of Clear Water Bay and the small islands that scatter around.  We'll take a gentle climb uphill and then a steep downhill walk on steps surrounded by big stones.  Expected journey time is 3.5 hours.

      Meeting Time: 0900

      Meeting Place: Exit A, Hang Hau MTR Station

      We'll go to the starting point of our hike, Ng Fai Tin (五塊田), by taxi.  NO TOILETS are available there.  Please use toilets at the shopping malls or at the back of the minibus terminal at Hang Hau before assembly.

      Please bring sufficient water and sun gear.  The latter part of the trail is exposed.

      P.S.  Green minibus #16 goes from Po Toi O/Clear Water Bay Golf Club, the finishing point of our hike, to Hang Hau every half an hour.
