Ivana Wong 王菀之 - Infinity Journey

for the most part i enjoy ivana's music. sometimes she reminds me of faye wong. but i enjoy it mostly because she has a simple voice that conveys so much. i also enjoy it b/c she's a christian and she writes most of her own music. i would consider her music to be alternative listening, but she's quite mainstream, i suppose.

on this album, she covers some of the songs she's written for others. most noticeable for me are 楊千嬅的「狼來了」、薛凱琪的「小黑與我」、容祖兒的 「呼天不應」、蔡依琳 的「許願池的希臘少女」 (國語-). it's not like i haven't heard these songs before, but it's almost like i'm hearing the lyrics for the first time. her 3 three new songs aren't bad either.
