finally update!

As the computer I am using now doesn’t support Chinese characters, I am going to type this entry in English.

It’s been so long since I last updated. Not that I have forgotten this place, but it always takes me sooooo long to type one entry (as my Chinese typing skill is very poor) and I really didn’t have much time using internet…

Anyway, lots have happened in the last few months.

Big News No.1:
I am officially a QUALIFIED PHARMACIST!!!
I completed 1-yr on-job training and passed my registration exam in July!!!
My friend said, ‘so now, you will have letters behind your name!’
And yes, they added MRPharm behind my name!

Big News No.2:
I have got a NEW JOB!!!
Since January this year, I have been thinking what I should do after my training. As I did my training in community pharmacy, I really want to change and get a taste of hospital pharmacy! After almost four months of job hunting plus a few complications, I turned down a better-paid job offer in community pharmacy and accepted a pharmacist position in a small hospital! Ha!
Worth it?! I don’t know yet. My new job will start tomorrow and I will tell you then! My first obstacle will be to get there! The hospital isn’t near my home at all. I will need to leave home at 6:50am to get there by 9am. Sounds ridiculous, isn’t it?! Since my aunt has strongly recommended me to stay where I am (i.e. her house) and try commuting everyday at the beginning, I think I will give it a go then~

Big News No.3:
I went to NEW YORK this summer!!!!!!
It was ammmaaaazzzzing! My best friend was getting married there and she invited me to her wedding in NY this summer months ago. As my job hunting wasn’t settled until late June and I needed to send off my passport to apply for work permit etc., I seriously didn’t know whether I can go or not!
And! 5 days before her wedding, my passport was returned to me from Immigration Office with the visa granted! Great! I immediately booked my air ticket and flight to NY 3 days later!!!!
My friend’s wedding was great and very touching! She is the first person getting married in our group!
After the wedding, I went sightseeing with 3 other friends (all fled from HK for the wedding!) We took a 8-hour coach journey up north to see the Niagara Falls! Even though my bum hurts, it's worth it. I just can't take my eyes off the falls when I was there!!!
I have to say I  NY!!! There are just LOADS to shop! Unfortunately, I didn't have time to shop til I drop... aii... I already want to go there again!!! hahaha
