Blind Tasting - '76 to '99 Red Wine

經過倆個星期的Atkins Diet, 決定要給自己一個break.  Weekend 吃了dessert, 喝了wine, 吃了一點點的carbs (蠔仔粥倆碗...哈哈) 減肥成績到成功時候會說我的過程.

最精彩都是星期6在朋友家玩blind tasting.  9個人喝了7瓶紅酒, 2瓶Champ, 還有blue label, dessert wine & cognac.

我們沒有什么主題,  因為他們平常都是喝French.  大家都心里有數.

開飯前, 我們都喝了一瓶Moet,一瓶Dom.  大家都說怕太快喝醉, 所以都很mellow.  主人家把酒分3組.  以下是我的品酒筆記：

第一組：

1976 Chateau Lafite-Rothschild

Deep red brown brick color. Nose: dried cherries, dark honey, strong dried herbs. Very light mouthfeel, smooth. Well-aged, well-kept. Couldn't have been better.

1986 Chateau Duhar-Milon

Produced by the team who make Lafite.

Aroma of black fruits interwoven with roasted herbs.  Darker color than the Lafite.  Considered light mouthfeel as well. 

第二組：

1996 Chateau Kirwan

Very subtle, middleweight wine with a lovely fresh, natural balance, gracefully ripe-fruited, but a little seedy
