When people asked me "how r u there", I would always say "pretty much the same, job hunting everyday". Well, this is my life here. Even though I don't have a stable employment history (I haven't worked for a company for more than 2 years), I found job hunting not interesting at all. I knew it would take me at least 3 to 6 months to get a job (even just part time or casual) but I am still feeling guilty if not siting in front of my laptop and browse for jobs on the internet for at least couple of hours everyday. Am really not sure how long I could stay positive ... I really don't have mood to do something fun here apart from job hunting and eating (both are necessities).
It's my first time to 煲老火湯 today. 青紅蘿白粟米煲豬骨 (could not chop the sweet corn into smaller pieces coz we don't have a sharp knife here) ... well, I planned to drink the soup for 2 meals, so I put what I considered to be appropriate portion of ingredients into the pot. However, the pot was too small so I could only pour less than half pot of water. I immediately felt that it was 煲燶底 after I put everything inside. Luckily the burnt wasn't too serious so the taste was still ok.

And now I would like to answer the question I asked in my previous blog post (2 or 3 posts before??). The reason I rarely bought leafy veggies here is that it's more convenient for me to chop and clean the melon/ capsicum type of veggie. As you know before you cook the leafy veggies, you have to clean them thoroughly (becoz of the sands) and you have to sort out the good & eatable part from the non-eatable part. What would you choose if you are a lazy person like me? Anyway, first time buying leafy veggies here - Choy Sum. It cost AUD1 for 2 batches, and I already used half to boil Choy Sum soup. I made stir fried Choy Sum with beef this time.
