A Suprising Ceremony

      Yesterday, I had a suprising school ceremony. At the beginning, we went into the hall and sat down without any notice about the hall. When I looked at the stage, it was decorated and some ballons were hanged on the top. I asked myself what it would be happening. After a minute, a teacher called us to stand up and welcome the principal, teachers,  F.1 and F.6 students. When the principal went into the hall, a song was introduced. I thought it was the theme song of the 2008 Olympic Games. We clapped our hands to welcome them. The welcoming lasted about 10 minutes.

     After that, the principal started her speech. She spoke out the theme of this school year. It was "Involving actively, Loving VGS". The most important thing is love, so the principal told us that we should thank our teachers. Then the principal insisted us to bend our body and say "Thank you" loudly to the teachers. We followed, but I just felt strange.

     At the end of the ceremony, a game was introduced to us. That is to find our class teachers by following the hints given by our class teachers. We need to choose a gift and gave it to our class teachers. My class riddle was a Pure Mathematics question asking us who is the vice class teacher.

     The ceremony was very special that I had never seen before. But I didn't like the action of the principal because she treated us as children. To be honest, I didn't like the principal. I hope I would have a happy school year and put more effort to my study because the Advanced Level Examination was approaching. Hope all you have a nice school year.
