My BB loves 薑汁撞奶.
I know many bloggers have successfully made it at home and it seems not difficult.
Last night, I tried it - hoping much to give BB a surprise.
During the waiting period (after pouring the milk into the ginger juice), I was so anxious that I kept walking around the sitting room. 5 mintues... 10 minutes... 15 mintues... I carefully took away the cover lid and looked...
I failed.
It turned out "a bit fluid". I did not know which part went wrong.
I asked BB to try it. He took a nip and said, 'you don't have to make it. Simply buy it to avoid the trouble...'
'It's different if that's home-made. Anyway, how's the taste? Is it sweet enough? How about the ginger taste - too much or too less or ok?'
'It's not 薑汁撞奶. Don't try making it anymore.'
I did not taste it as indeed, I do not and cannot eat 薑汁撞奶 at all. I only wanted to make it for BB.
At the end, BB threw it away.
I felt terribly frustrated - not because of the unsuccessful 薑汁撞奶 but due to BB's response.
