When Sarah, the gallery owner, first told me about this exhibition, it didn't even have a name yet. I simply knew that the theme is about "sex". I got no artwork on this topic at the time. Hehe... I really thought I don't have any >_< But Sarah thought I should join it. (I began to know what she thinks about my artworks )

So here comes the exhibition! Unexpectedly, most people joining it are my good friends!

What can one says in front of her works?

Fantastic!

When I think about Carrie, my memory of school days always comes back - discussing painting technique like face and body proportion. I enjoyed days going out buying canvas and special materials for painting with her a lot! To be exact, Carrie paints Japanese dolls which look very much like human. What is interesting for this friend is, she is a very sweet and gentle girl to meet in person, but she got the most horrifying visual elements displaying on her canvas.

Let's move on to my studio-mates:

This is a photo taken during Fotanian 2009, an open-studio function. We are sitting on Parry's installation. Parry is the boy in the middle. Me sitting on the chair. Sum standing in the back, and the boy in front is Jonathan Leung (involved in the sex show).

Jonathan was pretending those visitors who take photos in front of artworks with hands in V pose... very interesting local culture that one won't see elsewhere.

Does one really need to "V" in front of an artpiece? Anyway, here's Jonathan's installation. He is showing his living space in Fotanian 2009.

His living space has improved a lot! The following was his living space in 2008. Much clean and tidy this year!

The following is Sum's artpiece. A very subtle work on wooden board, which is difficult to show its beauty from a digital photo.

Here comes my paintings shown during open-studio. Hehe... only one small new work...

This new work is called "Family RPG"

This girl is Gloria Ng (involved in the coming show). Accidentally found that she looks like the character in my painting.

Gloria does conceptual jewellery.

Her jewellery are tailor-made, which relates jewellery to human body and shows  the intimacy in between.

Her works were shown in the International Jewellery Expo a few months before. Brilliant!!!

Gloria has always posed for my paintings. *hey! not for those which are going to exhibit in the sex show! nonono! not her!*

This is the first painting on Gloria, back to the days when we were in school.

Painting technique was immature. I remember one of my friends send me a job vacancy after viewing this painting: 死人化妝師 (make-up-artist for dead people)

I am always thankful for Gloria's help, being my painting model for all these years and getting painted into whatever you would call.

Last but not least, my teacher, Michael Lee, he is young and talented. Good at both theory and practical art. I specially like the Chinese name of his studio: 被迫裸體工作室

It is my first time having so many friends within a group exhibition since graduation. Very much looking forward to it on Valentine's Day
