Animotion!

打開依張卡, 就有隻polar bear邀請大家出席 1 / 12 (SAT) 於中環Ora-Ora Gallery 舉行嘅 "ANIMOTION" 展覽 opening!

Introduction:

好興奮可以同 Joe Joe Ngai 一齊展覽!!yeah!之前喺其他展覽見過佢嘅作品已經好鍾意!又好巧合嘅係佢同我嘅畫法好相近, 連題材都係以人為主, 仲要大家最近都轉吓畫動物, 真係無夾過吖!因為我哋根本無見過對方! 好幸運得到 Ora-Ora Gallery 策劃今次嘅聯展! 終於可以見到佢真人啦! 哈哈! 我一定會問佢攞簽名!

等我先post兩張我嘅作品:

依個新series 叫做 "City Animal", 究竟關於什麼, 就等我引用上面Ora-Ora Gallery幫我寫嘅artist statement解釋吓先!

Yolanda Yeung reveals her concerns on extinctive animals by stressing that extreme consumerism and commercialization in the modern world severely affect the equilibrium of our environment. animals like polar bears are suffering for deeds of human. she quotes: "We, humans, are those who pollute the world, causing global warming and absurd climate changes, not penguins nor polar bears. but now, it's their ice-bergs which are melting!" Yeung is much revolted by consumerism and the over-advertisement of products nowadyas, and expresses the sarcasm and concerns through her new works in this exhibition.

依個藝術貨櫃計劃都係暫時保持神秘先! it will be really fun! u will know when it's time!

下個月就係Christmas!! 好期待呀!我最鍾意嘅節日就係Christmas!  Too Art 將於12月有一個"Merry Artists!!"嘅活動! 由100位artists各自設計一件小小嘅artpiece掛上去Art Centre嘅聖誕樹! 我係其中1/100呀! Lucky! Make my Christmas special and memorable this year! 我哋會喺2/12(sun)gather掛聖誕樹, 一定會好好好熱鬧吖!
