(Cont'd) 6 Nov. (Fri.)
Went to the alumni association's AGM and met with many teachers and school mates. Happy!
I had an "impromptu" dinner at my favourite sushi restaurant again. This time, sayori is available. (Hurrah! I miss it soooooooooo much.) Sayori is yummy as always, and it's grilled skin is superb! The restaurant never fails me. I am struggling if I should pay a further visit to it before I leave Hong Kong.

So, this was my birthday! Friends C, S and SY invited me to a lunch at Top Deck, Jumbo. I drove there on my own ... for the very first time. Both MuMu and I performed well. There was no major hiccup, except that I did go against the traffic at one point. (Thank God that nothing fatal happened!) We ended up in the very nice car park of Aberdeen Marina Club, and the pier to Jumbo was just a few steps away. Jumbo was a place that I often went to when I was small. Of course, it is totally different now.
We were seated at a table in the balcony. It was a warm, breezy and sunny autumn afternoon. The food was fine and I received a gift that I really like. A pink desk diary entitled "2010 Calendar of Bunny Suicides". For those who have not read the comics, go and search for it on the Internet. It is so much fun. But ... I have never thought of receiving something about funny "suicides" as a birthday gift! And you know what, my dear friends have marked their birthdays in the diary in bold print, with bold reminders marked some weeks before their birthdays so that I will remember to buy them gifts. :)
Having said all this, I must say that it was a most enjoyable birthday lunch. Great company, nice place and a gift that I will use every day.
After lunch, I drove to Kowloon (crossing the harbour is still a big challenge to me!!!) for Uncle TC's birthday banquet in Hotel Nikko. I was forced to take part in the mahjong game and did eat some big "woos". :) The food was great, with my favourite fried crab claws!!!
8 Nov. (Sun.)
I went to Church with Big Sister in the morning. It was so nice to worship in a familar place. (I have yet to settle down in any church in the place I now live ...) Before that, we went to "cha chaan teng" for breakfast. Yummy ham and egg sandwich and milk tea!!!
Had dim sum lunch in Causeway Bay. The food was very good, but the place was overcrowded. I have strong views against the company's policy of placing so many tables in a confined area. That is acceptable for places that sell good food and charge highly reasonable price. But not for places with "hotel-like" prices!!! The restaurant has been blacklisted.
(to be continued)

Happy belated birthday.
The birthday girl was driving against the traffic? Well, it happens.
