New Year Resolutions ... Reading

One of my New Year resolutions is to read a book every month.  I finished reading the first book on 20 January and have started the second one.  I wish I could 超額完成.

The book contains very useful messages for me and many are thought-provoking.  The following sentence struck me most,

"The process of maturation as Christians and as human beings will inevitably be marked by failures, but the only real failure is to quit."

Well, we may have all heard about that before.  But at a time when challenges and problems just keep coming in, when one feels wearied and so lack of strength, and when "to quit" may appear to be such a perfect, though remote, answer, the highlighted message does bring much encouragement.
