JacMila was graduated from Polytechnic University Of Hong Kong in 2005. After that she took an illustration course and joined The Hong Kong Society of Illustration, which gave her lot of chances to exhibit her drawings in the public.

Year 2007 was a wonderful year for her that she won 2 design awards and started to sell her own books and products in Standard Chartered Book Festival.

In 2008, she joined Fotanian event to display her paintings and drawings. At the end of year she sold out many drawings at SOHO EAST gallery.

Year 2009 was an important year for her to start her own artistic path as a full time art teacher, artist and illustrator.

Artist Statement:
My works are greatly influenced by the styles of Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Gustav Klimt. Music is also one of the important elements that inspire me to draw my pictures. There are lot of decorative lines, which show rhythm and melody, to represent plant, flower and the beauty of nature.  
 
I love drawing pictures to express a joyful feeling and to share my positive views with those people in each of my illustration. The smiling faces of my figures show the beauty and love of humankind, such as friendship, family and also our lovely city. I would love to praise the creator of our universe and bless each person through each hand-drawn line and each of the figures in my works.
