Hand Wash BB Clothes (33W+)~

After learning my lesson, I will wash most of my bb clothes by hand, esp 底衫褲仔, 手套仔 & 襪仔, which will have direct contact with 廸廸仔's skin.  I may still wash the bed sheet & big items by machine in the future, but i will definitely use 洗衣袋 & softener. 

I rarely handwash my own clothes.  I either ask Rachel to handwash them or dry clean them or machine wash them.  廸廸仔 is really my precious.  This morning I decided to wash 廸廸仔's 底衫, 手套仔 & 襪仔 by myself.  I wanna find out a good way to wash them so that i can teach Rachel.  (If any mama see anything i have done incorrectly or there is a better way to do it, please let me know!!  thank you!!  ) 

But sometimes maids are just not as 細心 as u are & don't necessarily follow what u tell them to do.  Like i told Rachel to wash the bb hangers thoroughly before using them coz the store may have put them in a dirty place with lots of bugs before.  She just rinsed them with a little bit of water for 2 seconds without even rubbing them or using detergent.  sigh...  This is definitely not what i mean by 'thoroughly wash'.   I'll give her specific instructions next time.  The problem is sometimes she may not listen.   

First, I soaked everything with a small amount of bb washing powder & softener for a while.  Rubbed them a little (as they were still new clothes), then squeezed out all the water.

Second, use clean water to soak the clothes for a while.  Squeezed out all the water & then rinse them with another round of clean water.  I rinsed 3 times in total to make sure all the soap & softener had gone. 

Third, dried them thoroughly & hanged them to dry.  The weather is nice outside.  But since there was constructions going on outside my building with all the dusts flying around, i hanged them in my washroom.  

Finally, ironed them with a steamer rather than regular iron.  Let them air out & then put them into the drawer.
