CNY Outing With Family

Last Sunday, I went for CNY outing with my family. As my mom was too busy to cook for reunion dinner, we decided to go up KL and Genting Highlands to spend our Chinese New Year holidays. My sister came back from Singapore and my brother applied for leave from National Service to join us this time.   

We reached KL on the first day and after we checked in hotel, we went to Mid Valley for a walk and to fill up our stomach hehehe.

We booked our reunion dinner at Times Square. Before that, we went back to hotel to change our clothes.

There were 4 dishes in our reunion dinner menu.

After reunion dinner, we went to watch "All's Well End's Well". Quite a funny movie for CNY atmosphere. Hahaha ~

We had a nice sleep on that night. The next day, we made preparations for Genting outing.

Before we went up to Genting, we went to Manhattan Fish Market, Mid Valley for breakfast.

We went up to Genting after that. Genting was so crowded! We had to wait for over 1 hour to check in! But as this was expected, we just walked around while waiting.

We went for dinner at Shanghai restaurant. The price was very expensive indeed!

After that, we walked around Genting for the night.

The next morning, we had our breakfast at First World Cafe. The crowd was indeed still there and it was hard for us to get our food. But at last, our table was filled with food. Kekekeke...

After we had our breakfast, we checked out and after we put our lagguages in our car, we went to outdoor themepark to have fun.

As there was a huge crowd too in outdoor themepark, we decided to divide into 2 groups so that we wont be wasting time lining up. My mom and ga ze was in 1 group and my sai lou mui and me in another group. Firstly, we went to play Pirate Ship. This was my first time playing Pirate Ship and the experience was great! However, I didn't dare to sit behind so I chose middle seat. Kekekekeke....

After that, my sai mui and sai lou went to play spinner and we went for boating after that. Then, we tried on antique car. However, the distance for the antique car was a bit too short for us.

We joined my mom and ga ze after that and we went to sit monorail. This time, the distance was much more longer and we could see the whole Genting around! It was so nice although the weather was a bit cold that time.

As there were too many peoples on that day, we could not play all the games there. A bit disappointment for us cuz the time was not allowing us to play longer. Our time really wasted on lining up [sigh].

There was no choice for us so we had to leave Genting as it was already 6 pm. We reached home at around 9 pm and we had our dinner in Malacca thereafter. This was a tired but happy and exciting adventure for our family because we really didn't have such an outing for whole family for a long time already. Hope that we can do that every year. Happy Chinese New Year ~!!
