Yesterday I went to Fung's Your Love Autograph Session at Pavilion, KL. I reached KL in the afternoon. At first, I was thinking whether to go airport to meet Fung or not since he will reach on that day. But at last, I decided not to since nobody will go with me.
After I reached KL, I met up with my friend Wai Wai, Ting Ting and Lily. We went to eat something. Actually we planned to wait for Ah Fung at hotel. But the problem was we did not know which hotel he was staying at. After lunch, Ting Ting and Lily went to Sungei Wang to buy something. Therefore, Wai Wai and me decided to try our luck at JW Marriot since the hotel was just opposite Pavilion. After we went in, we looked around and to be truth, the hotel did not look like artistes were staying there because no fans were to be seen. But we really do not have other choices but to try our luck. I approached a worker there and try to ask whether there was any HK artistes staying there. The worker told me that there was a HK male artiste staying there and will check in that afternoon and there was a HK female artiste check-in last night. Of course we were overjoyed since we thought the guy must be Ah Fung and the girl must be Vincy. Therefore, we sat down there and waited for Fung.
As we knew, Ah Fung had a press conference at 3 pm and we guessed that he might go for press con and then only check in. We waited for nearly 4 hours and Ah Fung was yet to be seen. We started to feel weird and Ting Ting called us and told us that Hacken Lee was in KL too on that day. OMG!! We guessed we have waited at the wrong hotel and wrong artiste! But everything was not confirmed yet and we did not dare to leave too. But the lining up time was approaching and therefore, no matter willing or not (we always feel that after we left the hotel, Ah Fung will reach), we have to leave the hotel and ready to line up. I really have no fate waiting for Ah Fung at hotel.
We reached the venue and we have to show album to get our ticket. To be truth, I did not know the ticket was for what purpose. For collection? Haha.
Anyway, we went into the venue. What I can say is the place that we were standing was so terrible. It was at the side and we couldn't even see the stage properly. We were blocked by a few guards there too. I was thinking, purposely got a ticket just to stand at the side with many things blocking us? Then I rather stand in the middle without ticket and can take good photos of Ah Fung.
Anyway, we waited patiently for Ah Fung and at last, he came out.
As expected, the first song that he sang was his new plugged song, Lovers and The Sea.
Later, he introduced Vincy to come up on the stage. This was another disappointing moments for me. From my standing position, I couldn't even see Vincy's look properly.
I could only take her photo between the gaps.
Since Vincy was there, of course they must sing their duet, After Tomorrow. I've recorded some part of it. Sorry for bad quality.
Of course, the last song that he sang was Love With No Regrets. I definitely couldn't see his face when he sang the last song so I couldn't record any video.
Time for autograph session. When I passed my album for Fung to sign on the CD, the worker beside him suddenly said, "Sorry, can sign cover only." Ah Fung actually wanted to sign on my CD already because he knew that he has signed the HK version cover in HK (mine is HK version). But the girl turned my cover and said, "Yours already signed. Cannot sign again." Another worker said, "Please get down."
I was totally tired, angry and disappointed for the event yesterday. Not because of the signature but the attitude of the workers, the arrangements of events and fans club. Anyway, I did not wait for the event to finish and I rushed to take taxi with Catherine (we have agreed to go back in taxi and she will drop me at Puduraya) to go Puduraya to take bus back to Malacca. Luckily I did not miss the bus as there was traffic jam at that time and I chose to run to bus station. Thanks Catherine for the taxi fare!
It was a tired and meaningless night. The next morning, I received a card from FungForever, HK. It was a birthday card for me from FF with Fung's signature on the back. But actually it was late by 3 sweeks haha. I was thinking, was it a replacement for yesterday's event? Anyway, it did light up my mood for the day. Anyway, I hope that things can be better when I attend next Fung's event.
