When we were young, if your husband ( wife ) told you that he ( she ) loved you, it was probably he ( she ) wasn't mean he ( she ) really loved you. It might be for you're apprearance ( young and beauty, handsome ), your money, your innocent...
It was also easy for your husband ( wife ) to say "I love you ", because you were young, you didn't need anybody to take care of, you were not depend on anybody, you could make your own money. Might be it was you to take care of him (her ) and your own family.
But you can tell if your husband ( wife ) really loved you or not after 10 or 20 years after. When you both are getting older, your apprearance not as good as young any more. You need someone to take care of you when you are sick. You need someone to support and stand by you when you are in hard time. You need someone to comfort you when you are in sorrow. You need someone to share with your happiness and success. This is the right time to know that he ( she ) really loved you or not. He ( she ) is a good partner for you or not.
I will be happy for you guys if you say " yes " that you have a good partner to walk with you on the way of your life.

In the days when both are young, especially before marriage...love based on ...apprearance ( young and beauty, handsome ), money, innocence, curiosity, etc...
After marriage...love based on...toleration, understanding each other's needs, co-operation to maintain a harmonious home, money, trust...etc...

Wow this sounds so ideal, I wish I will meet this gd partner someday in my life.
I truely believe there is a puzzle piece waiting for us, there are gd examples I met, although there are tons of bad cases out there, but hope is always around
