Multaluli

今天是動作拍攝的最後一天，同時也是拍攝Gianna與Woo Sung一場十分激動悲情的戲。景是Central Amsterdam 的Multaluli Bridge。我們的拍攝範圍超過二百平方米，有近一百名特約演員。  在這種環境拍攝就是—混亂！除此以外，兩位演員還要在其中演繹在戲中最傷感激動的一場！！說句實話，今天我看到近乎完美的專業精神。那是從導演、各演員、特約、到各部門，每人如是。這場景亦實在是十分複雜。首先，我們需要多個不同大厦“top shot”位置同時拍攝，但時間不多。同時又要與天氣鬥快，因已見雨勢正向着我們來… 再者，在橋上兩邊是坐滿人客的路邊茶座，正正是在拍攝範圍中心。實在是頭痛… 試想像，這邊拍著熗戰場面，那邊客人卻在鏡頭旁正喝著他的cappuccino…談笑風生… 此際每位工作人員都努力地為著一個目標：為劉導演造就最完美，最理想的拍攝環境與場面。同時，我又再一次徹底被Gianna 與Woo Sung 的演技征服了。在這煩雜混亂之中心如“戰地”，兩人要演出這極度複雜激動與悲情的內心戲。但他們就是完美無瑕得不敢相信！  我入行以來，在攝影機旁看過無數此類場口，但從沒試過被感動得就地流淚。也不要說，我跟本不懂韓文！我真的被感動了，即使跟前盡是茶客，我被感動至淚湧。說實話，今天從每一環節裡，我真真正正的看到了專業與完美。

Shooting day 27

Multaluli

Today we shot our last action sequence which is also a very emotional scene between Gianna and Wilson.  We were shooting on Multaluli Bridge in Central Amsterdam where our shooting area covers over 200 meter radius with close to 100 extras.  When you shoot a scene like this means only one thing – chaotic!  Despite all that, 2 actors need to do an extremely emotional scene in the middle of it!!  Tell you the truth, I’ve seen professionalism nearly to perfection today, from every department, from actors to extras, from directors to PAs.  There are many complications involve in this location.  For a starter, we need many top shots from the buildings around the bridge and time is not on our side.  We need to run against the weather, knowing the rain is on its way…  Then there are 2 side walk cafes on the bridge that we can’t buy out for the shoot.  It was quite a headache since the tables are right in the middle of the bridge…  Imagine you are doing gun shooting scene while there are real customers sipping their coffee right next to the camera…talking and laughing…  Every crew had worked closely with one another for one goal, to give a perfect set up for Andrew to shoot.  Meanwhile, I was once again amazed by watching Gianna and Wilson in act.  As you can see, you are in the middle of the chaos.  Though in spite of all that, two of them have to deliver a complex emotional scene in the core of the war zone.  But what do you know, they were flawless!  I have worked and seen hundreds of scenes on set before, but I have never had tears by watching it behind cameras.  Not to mention, I don’t even understand Korean!  I was moved, even in front of all those laughing chatty coffee drinkers, I was moved with tears.  Truly, I have seen professionalism and perfection, in every aspect today.
