Eating forms a crucial part of our memory.  Indeed, I always forgot the sightseeing spots that I had travelled to, but fond memories of good food and good company are always there!  This is my eating diary for my stay in Hong Kong so far ...

4 Nov. (Wed.)

Yum cha with dad, mom, uncle and aunties.  We ordered more than we could eat.  Yummy and full.

Sushi dinner.  Part of my birthday treat.  Again, Chef F prepared my favourite radish cuisine for me.  Very touching.  Too bad that sayori was not yet available.  I miss sayori!!!

5 Nov. (Thur.)

I went out with MuMu and left him on the street while going for breakfast in a cha chaan teng.  Very satisfying ... ham and egg sandwich and milk tea.

Lunch with friends at Shiro in Pacific Place.  Nice interior design and beautiful people there.  We had a great chat.  Again, birthday treat!!!

Dad bought me dinner.  Chiuchow food.  Dad, mom, brother, sis-in-law and big sister were there.  Shark's fin soup was yummy!

Bought desserts to Friend S' place and ate again!  Friend A, Friend V and her BBC were there.  Happy chatting!

6 Nov. (Fri.)

Got up very late, too late to fix any lunch appointment.  Went to Island Place with MuMu and had borsch and steak with black pepper sauce in Queen's Cafe.  The business there at lunchtime was good.

Went to buy the famous "gai daan jai" in a nearby stall, then delivered some to Friend C.  Guess she must be deeply touched.  Hahaha!

I must confess that all these eating, eating, eating sound very "tui fai".  But ...  I've been lonely for so long ...  :P

    You like food and eating, have you ever thought of making it a business, say writing a food book or cook book or something like that.

    I am seriously thinking about how to turn this interest into something that means more to myself and people around me.  I have no idea yet.  But it is hard.  Nowadays, everybody claims to be a gourmet or a good cook.  I need to find my market niche.
